Heartsaver CPR/AED 2020 (3 hours)

Heartsaver cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) with first aid are intended for the general public. Students are those who have limited or no medical training and are required to have a CPR and AED card for job requirements. This course includes lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants. Skills included in this course include ventilation with mouth-to-mouth, pocket masks, AED, and relief of foreign body airway obstruction.

Heartsaver CPR/AED with First Aid 2020 (5 hours)

Heartsaver cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) with first aid are intended for the general public. Students are those who have limited or no medical training and are required to have a CPR and AED card for job requirements. This course includes lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants. Skills included in this course include ventilation with mouth-to-mouth, pocket masks, AED, and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. First Aid is included in this course, which covers a variety of medical, environmental, and injuries.

Basic Life Support Provider Course 2020 (4 hours)

The Healthcare Provider course is meant for those in the healthcare field with expired certification or taking basic life support for the first time. This course will enable healthcare providers to develop lifesaving skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants. Skills included in this course include ventilation with a pocket mask, bag-valve-mask, mouth-to-mouth, using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign body airway obstruction.

The Healthcare Provider course is meant for those in the healthcare field who have an active Basic Life Support certification. This course will enable healthcare providers to develop lifesaving skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants. Skills included in this course include ventilation with a pocket mask, bag-valve-mask, mouth-to-mouth, using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign body airway obstruction.

Skills included in this course include ventilation with a pocket mask, bag-valve-mask, mouth-to-mouth, using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign body airway obstruction.

Part 1: Complete the online portion at www.elearning.heart.org, Heartcode BLS product number 20-3553; the cost is $31.00. Register and pay for online courses. Print off the certificate after completion of the course and course evaluation. Takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

Part 2: Skills practice and testing by a BLS Healthcare Provider Instructor. Takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The cost is $35 for the skills portion.

Basic Life Support Instructor Course 2020 (4 hours)

The Healthcare Provider Instructor course is meant for those who have a current Basic Life Support card and wish to instruct others in Heartsaver and Basic Life Support. This course will allow the students to strengthen and perfect their skills.

Part 1: Complete the required paperwork and online portion.

Part 2: Complete the BLS Instructor course.

Part 3: Teach a class that is monitored by Training Center Faculty, must be done within 6 months of the instructor course.

Basic Life Support Instructor Renewal 2020 (30 minutes or 2 hours)

The Healthcare Provider Instructor Renewal course is meant for those who have a current Basic Life Support instructor card and are due to renew their instructor certification. This course will allow the students to strengthen and perfect their skills. Training center faculty will monitor a course to ensure the content of American Heart American cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses is delivered appropriately.

Option 1: Register and attend the Basic Life Support/Heartsaver Renewal. Monitoring of skills and instruction is done during this course.

Option 2: Teach a Basic Life Support Class and be monitored by Training Center Faculty, which could be onsite or offsite.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course 2020 (16 hours)

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course (ACLS) is meant for advanced providers with an expired or no prior certification. This course highlights the essentials of care for hospital and out-of-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and stroke. This course is meant for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, paramedics, or similar specialties. Skills included in this course include ventilation with airway management with bag-valve masks, nasopharyngeal airways, oropharyngeal airways, endotracheal intubations, use of cardiac monitor with cardioversion, defibrillation, and cardiac pacing. All students will develop the skills and knowledge to become a team leader in mega code. All students will develop skills and work as a team during the course.
